Actually there is no such thing as a speaker that does everything well and works in any situation. One reader might have a 1,000 square foot loft, where they sit 25 feet from the speaker and mostly listen to hip hop and another could live in a tiny apartment and listen to chamber music. They both want great speaker, but they need very different speakers. Both of them want to close to the same budget, the first one would do best with the PSB T6 tower($1,298/pair),while the chamber music fan would be better off with a pair of Golden Era Technology A on 3 bookshelf speakers($1,000/pair).
Some general guidelines apply: bigger speaker, and ones with more drivers play louder with deeper bass and lower distortion than small speaker. If those question are important to you, don't buy small speakers. Here's a quick rundown of some of my favorite speakers, and why I love them.
The greatest pure electronic speaker (without cone woofers)sound remarkably vived, transparent, and clear with most types of musical instrument, but they are not well suited to rock. The quad 57 is perhaps, the most important electronic design. It was introduced in the late 1950s and remained in production through the early 1980s.
Flat panel speakers like magnepons, are frequently confused with electrostatic speakers, but unlike state magnepons don't have to the plugged into Ac power outlets.Music can play fairly loud, they are highly transparent and clear, but they don't make a lot of very deep bass.Electrostatic speakers and Maggie's need to be place a few feet away from walls to sound their best and lend to be fussy about power amps, magnepons prices start at $600 a pair.
The Vandersteen model2 towers, introduced in late 1977,have been revised again and again over the years and are still in production as the 2Ce signature II.These speakers produce a big ,laid-back sound ;terrific wide-open imaging;and fill basis. Now where near the clarity of the quads, but the Vandersteen play louder, have more and better bass and work in larger rooms the quads can handle.
Some of the important speakers are as follows-(1)klipseh "horn"speaker are highly dynamic and can play super loud with Easley.(2)Anthony Gallo Acoustic A'Diva SE ($658/pair) it's a name those who need smallest possible speakers and want audiophile quality sound.
(3)The Emotiva Pro Steath8 is a large bookshelf speakers, but it can play really loud, and really well.
(4)Adam Audio F5 is a desktop speaker sound system. It's a self- powered monitor speaker.we can just hook it up directly to our computers analog output ,or to a USB digital converter.
